What we process, and why
Sending a loan request
- Collected
- First and last name, email address, telephone number, postal address and country, the amount, term and currency you chose, your identity document, your proof of income if you attached one, the language of the page and the IP address the request was sent from.
- Purpose
- To assess your request, to work out the schedule we send you, and to present your file to the lenders approached.
- Legal basis
- Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
- Kept for
- The supporting documents are deleted automatically 90 days after they arrive. The file itself is kept for as long as the request is being dealt with, then for the period the law requires of us.
Writing to us
- Collected
- Name, email address, telephone number if you give one, subject, message, the language of the page and the IP address the message was sent from.
- Purpose
- To answer you, and to recognise an abusive sending.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in replying to those who write to us.
- Kept for
- For as long as answering requires, then archived with the correspondence.
Subscribing to the newsletter
- Collected
- Email address and the language of the page.
- Purpose
- To send the letter you asked for.
- Legal basis
- Your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Kept for
- Until you unsubscribe; every letter carries the link.
Counting visits
- Collected
- A fingerprint of the IP address — never the address itself — the page read, the language and the referring address.
- Purpose
- To know which pages are read, without recognising anyone.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site is useful.
- Kept for
- 365 days, then deleted automatically.
Who has access
Inside the company, the person who handles your file. Outside, the lenders your request is presented to, and only for that purpose.
Nothing is sold, and nothing is passed on for advertising. OPTIMA FINANCE is a credit intermediary: it arranges and presents your file, it does not lend its own funds.
How your documents are kept
- Everything travels over an encrypted connection.
- Your documents are stored outside the public web, under a generated name that owes nothing to the one your file had.
- They are served only to a signed-in administrator, never through an address someone could guess.
- They are deleted automatically 90 days after they arrive, without anyone having to think about it.
Your rights
You may ask to see what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its use, to receive it in a portable form, or to object to it. Where a processing rests on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, without it affecting what was done before.
Write to contact@optimafinancepro.com. We answer within a month, and we may ask you to prove who you are before sending personal papers to an address.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in the country where you live or where you consider the breach took place.
